Since January 2024, I am a Certified Face Yoga Teacher for the Danielle Collins Method. She developed this method around 20 years ago. For me, she remains THE ultimate expert on Face Yoga.
Somewhere around 2010 to 2015, I became highly interested in Face Yoga. At that time, you only saw information about it now and then. This content appeared mainly on Pinterest and Instagram. Interestingly, there were only two people talking about this topic back then.
One of them was Danielle Collins. She gave some very interesting workshops, which I eagerly followed. Consequently, I attended as many sessions as I could. Even when she hosted the same workshops, I still signed up. Because every single time was a bit different, I always learned a lot of interesting things from her. She still gives these free workshops now and then. Therefore, when you have the chance, you should definitely follow one or two!
Eventually, I wanted to try another teacher too, which I did. I followed free and paid workshops from both teachers. But I kept going back to Danielle Collins. I like the way she teaches very much. Also, I love her content. Even her free workshops are loaded with information. You never get the idea that she only wants to sell to you. No, that is definitely not what is happening in her sessions.
Therefore, somewhere in the beginning of the 2020s, I decided to become an official teacher. I signed up for the training. The course is exceptionally well-written. It includes a big manual and many detailed video trainings.
Consequently, I took enough time to learn everything very well. In the meantime, I gave regular classes to some friends and colleagues. In January 2024, I did my written and practical examination, and I passed with flying colours. Meaning that since that time, I am a fully certified Face Yoga Teacher for the Danielle Collins Method.
What is Face Yoga?
Face Yoga is an excellent way to relax and tone the muscles in your face. Consequently, it helps to tone your jawline and your chin. It even helps to get rid of small lines. Also, doing it correctly can help prevent deeper lines.
Your face has around 43 muscles. When you count the neck muscles too, there are 68 muscles. Imagine what you can do with them if you exercise and massage them regularly!
Like with toning your body, it is essential that you do these exercises regularly. Therefore, you can easily keep your face and neck toned. We highly advise doing the sessions six times a week for about 10 minutes.
Fortunately, you can do Face Yoga everywhere. You can practice as long as you feel comfortable. For example, try it under the shower, or in the bath. You can do it behind your desk. Alternatively, try it while standing in line at the supermarket cashier!
Our Online Lessons
I give my Face Yoga lessons online via several secure platforms. The lessons are given in private sessions. But when you want to follow it together with one or two friends, do not hesitate to contact me. We will easily work it out together.
I always like to keep my groups small. Therefore, I set a maximum of 3 people per class. I want you to get all the personal attention you deserve. This focus might get lost when the group becomes bigger.
You can easily sign up for a trial session today. Then, when you want to follow more sessions, I offer single classes. Alternatively, you can choose a small package where you buy 10 sessions and only pay for 8.
As mentioned, all standard sessions are done online. However, when you live in Thessaloniki and remain a client of mine for some time, I will offer face-to-face sessions now and then.
